Sophie Blok

Sophie Blok is a researcher at Omroep HUMAN, specializing in Medialogica since January 2025. Prior to this role, Sophie served as an audioredacteur at Follow the Money from March 2022 to December 2024 and worked as a onderzoeksjournalist at Argos from September 2019 to September 2021, where responsibilities included radio editing and programming. Sophie began their career with positions at Het Parool as a web editor, followed by an internship with VPRO, where significant contributions included research and the production of a program on sustainable multinationals. Educational background includes a Master's degree in Journalism and Media from the University of Amsterdam, a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University, and a Bachelor's in Social Sciences from the University of Amsterdam, along with various minors in Conflict Studies and International Development.
