Luis Ugaz

Luis Ugaz has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries. Their most recent position was as the Chief Information Officer for OMS National Insurance and its subsidiary Fortress Insurance, where they led the application and digital transformation for the company. Before that, they worked as an independent consultant, serving as the Chief Technology Officer for various clients and managing IT operations and E-commerce platforms. From 2012 to 2016, they were the VP of Applications, Ecommerce, and Finance at HUB International, overseeing a team of internal and external consultants. Prior to that, they held positions such as Director of IT at Tower Group Companies and Development Manager at SUA Insurance Company. In addition, they have experience as a CTO and Director of IT at CoAMS, Inc., Director of Application Development at uBid.com, and Consultant at Icon and ZS Associates.

Luis Ugaz is currently pursuing a degree in Product Strategy at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, with an expected completion year of 2022. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering and another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Statistics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Additionally, Luis has also obtained a certification in Product Strategy from Kellogg Executive Education in January 2023.
