Radu Caprau

Radu Caprau is an experienced executive in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an Executive Board Member responsible for the Downstream Oil Division at OMV Petrom since October 2018. Prior to this role, Radu held the position of Head of Crude Supply & Trading at OMV for a brief period in 2018. Radu's tenure at OMV Petrom includes significant roles such as Director of Product Supply & Sales East and Head of Downstream Optimization & Supply from 2012 to 2018, as well as serving as President of the Board of Directors for OMV Petrom Marketing SRL during the same timeframe. Radu's experience also encompasses leadership roles in retail management at OMV Petrom Marketing and as Country Retail Manager for OMV Bulgaria from 2005 to 2008. Radu Caprau holds a Bachelor’s degree in management from Universitatea „Transilvania” din Brașov, awarded in 1997.
