Alexandru Cristian Popa

Alexandru Cristian Popa is a skilled reservoir engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Senior Expert Reservoir Engineer at OMV Petrom since June 2023, Alexandru is involved in reservoir analysis, performance reviews, and production optimization within the Reservoir Optimization Department. From February 2017 to May 2023, Alexandru held the position of Chief Engineer at S.N.G.N Romgaz S.A., overseeing production and operations in the southern assets of Romania, after previously working as a Reservoir Engineer in the company's reservoir simulation department. Earlier, Alexandru worked as a Reservoir Engineer at RFD OIL & GAS from January 2014 to November 2016. Alexandru holds a Master of Science degree in Reservoir Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, both from Universitatea Petrol-Gaze din Ploiești.
