Chitu Daniel has extensive experience in refinery operations, currently serving as Senior Expert in Refinery Operations at OMV Petrom since September 2012. Prior roles within OMV Petrom included Senior Process Engineer (Exploration & Production) and various refinery plant management positions. Chitu's previous experience includes significant roles at COMPROIECT-92 as Principal Process Engineer, SAIPEM as Senior Process Engineer involved in international projects, and roles at PetroVietnam, IPIP SA, URS, Rompetrol Vega Refinery, and Lukoil Refinery in various engineering capacities. Chitu holds a degree in Oil Processing, Petrochemistry, and Carbochemistry from the Oil and Gas University Ploiești, complemented by foundational education as a chemical operator from Chemical High School Ploieşti.
