Elene de la Vega

Elene de la Vega is an experienced LNG commercial operations professional with a robust background in optimizing and managing LNG platforms. Currently serving as the LNG Commercial Operations Manager at OMV since May 2011, Elene focuses on developing efficient management of LNG operations. Prior experience includes roles at Gazprom Marketing and Trading as an LNG Commercial Negotiator, where commercial strategies for gas delivery in North America and Europe were negotiated, and at Golden Pass LNG as an LNG Scheduling Coordinator, where Elene evaluated commercial terms and developed business processes for terminal operations. Elene's earlier positions at Cheniere Energy and CRYOGAS ENGINEERING contributed to extensive knowledge in commercial operations and project development. Elene holds a Master's degree in International Business and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and International Politics from the University of St. Thomas, along with education from Universidad Pontificia.
