Michal Kubinec

Michal Kubinec is an accomplished executive currently serving as the Head of OMV Retail Austria since January 2024, with a rich history in retail management and strategic operations. Previously, Kubinec held the position of Head of Retail & D2D Sales at Slovak Telekom, overseeing a network of 75 stores and door-to-door sales channels. Prior roles at OMV include Head of Department for Retail Slovakia and International Asset & Car Wash Management, where responsibilities encompassed managing the operations of 104 filling stations and leading a team in asset management across 10 countries. Kubinec also has extensive experience in international project coordination and financial performance analysis, holding multiple managerial roles since joining OMV in 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Executive Management from FHWien University and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from ESB Business School.
