Rochelle Youngson

Rochelle Youngson is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Head of Legal Australasia at OMV since January 2017, overseeing a legal team and managing commercial functions, compliance, and corporate governance. Previous roles include Senior Business Partner in Energy - Legal, focusing on various countries and new market entries, and Senior Legal Counsel, where responsibilities encompassed corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, contract negotiation, and dispute resolution within the oil and gas sector. Prior to OMV, Rochelle held positions at Beca as Senior Corporate Solicitor and Santos Limited as Corporate Lawyer, specializing in corporate law and joint ventures. Early career experience includes a role as Senior Associate with Herbert Smith Freehills, concentrating on energy and resources law. Rochelle holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from Murdoch University.
