Sylvia K. Shin

Sylvia K. Shin serves as the Senior Vice President of Communications at OMV, a position held since April 2022. Prior to this role, Sylvia contributed to Bayer from June 2014 to March 2022, where various leadership positions included VP, Global Head of Strategy, Transformation and Executive Communications, as well as positions focused on strategy and digital communications within the Pharmaceuticals division. Sylvia's career began at Sony, where responsibilities spanned from General Manager of Corporate Communications Europe to roles in Corporate PR and global public relations strategy. Academically, Sylvia holds a Diplom-Kauffrau (MBA equivalent) in Marketing & Market Research, Audit, and Tax Law from the University of Cologne and has furthered education at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and IMD.
