Ori Ohayon has an extensive background in the finance and blockchain sectors. Ori has held positions at prestigious companies such as Goldman Sachs and TD Securities, where they worked in equity sales and trading, as well as equity derivatives sales and trading. At TD Securities, they also played a role in developing a blockchain trade settlement platform.
More recently, Ori has focused on the development of NFT technologies and Web3 solutions. Ori served as the President of NFT BAZL, where they launched the world's first NFT marketplace for authenticating and selling physical and digital assets using blockchain technology. As the Head of Strategy at Metaverse Group, they led the development of their first NFT platform, aiming to bring NFT technologies to a broader audience. Currently, Ori serves as the President of On Chain Listings, where they are providing the real estate market with a solution to verify and secure ownership rights through an on-chain database.
Throughout their career, Ori has demonstrated a strong ability to drive innovation, develop partnerships, and contribute to the growth of the companies they have worked with.
Ori Ohayon completed an Executive MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School from 2023 to 2024. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Quantitative Finance, Economics, and Management from the Lang School of Business and Economics - University of Guelph, which they completed from 2012 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Ori Ohayon obtained various certifications, including #NFTNYC2023 Speaker from NFT.NYC in 2023, and AI in Fintech Essential Training, Advanced Business Development: Communication and Negotiation, Blockchain: Beyond the Basics, and Managerial Economics from LinkedIn in 2020. They also completed certifications such as Options Licensing Course - Honours Certificate, Derivatives Fundamentals Course - Honours Certificate, Conducts and Practices Handbook, Canadian Securities Course, and Trader Training Course from the Canadian Securities Institute between 2017 and 2018.
