Jono Hampton

Jono Hampton has extensive work experience in the footwear design industry. Jono is currently the Head of Footwear Design - Performance Tennis and Lifestyle at On, a position they have held since February 2024. Prior to that, they were the Head of Footwear Design PAD from April 2022 to February 2024. Jono has also worked as a Footwear Design Lead from March 2021 to April 2022, and as a Footwear Designer from May 2020 to March 2021, both at On.

Before joining On, Jono worked at Clarks, where they held various roles over the years. Jono was the Head of Design Men's division from September 2017 to January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Footwear Designer from June 2016 to September 2017, and as a Mens Footwear Designer from December 2012 to June 2016. Jono also had the role of Designer - Footwear Innovations from December 2010 to December 2012, where they conceptualized ideas and implemented designs into online developments. Additionally, they worked as a Children's Footwear Designer from May 2008 to December 2010, primarily focusing on designing the boy's range within the Clarks children's department.

Jono began their career as a Junior Designer at Design for Sport in January 2008, holding the position until April 2008.

From 2003 to 2006, Jono Hampton attended the University of Wales, Cardiff, where they obtained a 2:1 degree in Product Design.
