Darren Verebelyi

Darren Verebelyi is a seasoned professional with 20 years of experience in R&D and product development, currently serving as Sr Manager of Sensor Engineering at onsemi since July 2024 and as President of CoScientific LLC since October 2018. Previously, Darren held significant roles, including Director of Sensor Engineering at SWIR Vision Systems, Vice President of Engineering at FreeFall Aerospace and Global Solar Energy, and Director of Engineering at American Superconductor. Notable achievements include managing $200M in new equipment development, directing multiple new product introductions, and collaborating on research with prestigious institutions. Darren holds a PhD in Physics from Clemson University and a B.S. in Physics from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.
