Rick Whitcomb

Rick Whitcomb currently serves as Vice President of Business Operations in the Power Solutions Group at ON Semiconductor, a role held since July 2006 that encompasses business unit general management with responsibilities including P&L management, revenue growth, operational quality, and new product development. Prior to this, Rick Whitcomb held the position of Sr. Manager for World-Wide Technical and Product Marketing at Fairchild from January 2000 until its acquisition by ON Semiconductor in June 2006. Earlier in Rick Whitcomb's career, roles included Engineering Section Manager for Operations and Quality at National Semiconductor and serving as a Senior Weapons Systems Non-Commissioned Officer in the U.S. Navy. Academic credentials include a Master of Business Administration in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Husson University, and an advanced degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the U.S. Navy.
