Ashley Toplis

Ashley Toplis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and organizations. Starting in 2009 as an IT Teaching Assistant at Holgate Middle School, they then worked as a Customer Services Assistant at Iceland Foods from 2010 to 2014. In 2014, Ashley joined the University of Greenwich as an IT Support Officer, where they provided technical support to a large user base, including students and staff. They also handled VIP support for senior management and performed various administrative tasks related to account management and system maintenance. After their tenure at the University of Greenwich, Ashley joined Gamma in 2017 as an IT Infrastructure Technician. They progressed through various roles, including an Apprentice Infrastructure Engineer, Apprentice IT Solutions Architect, and ultimately a Junior IT Solutions Architect. During this time, they gained experience in managing and supporting virtual machines, installing and maintaining hardware, and executing project work. Currently, Ashley is working as a Security Analyst at On the Beach since 2021.

Ashley Toplis began their education at Kingstone Secondary School in 2005 and completed their studies there in 2010. Following that, Ashley attended Barnsley College from 2010 to 2012, although no specific degree or field of study is provided for this period. In 2014, Ashley enrolled at the University of Greenwich and pursued a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Computing, completing the program in 2016.

In 2018, Ashley pursued further education at the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education, specializing in Cyber Security. They obtained a degree as a Cyber Security Technologist from this institution, completing the program in 2020.

In addition to their formal education, Ashley has obtained various certifications. In June 2015, they acquired the "OS X Support Essentials 10.10" certification from Apple. More recently, in May 2021, Ashley obtained two certifications from CompTIA: "CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)" and "CompTIA Security+."
