Samuel Lawrence

Samuel Lawrence has a diverse work experience spanning from 2012 to the present. Samuel is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at On the Beach since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Software Engineer at the same company from September 2019 to January 2023. Before joining On the Beach, Samuel worked as a Freelance Software Developer from January 2019 to September 2019. Samuel also served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour from October 2016 to January 2019. Samuel pursued their academic career at the University of York, where they completed a Cognitive Neuroscience PhD from October 2013 to September 2016. Samuel also earned a Cognitive Neuroscience MSc from the same university from September 2012 to August 2013. Furthermore, they briefly worked as a Research Assistant at the University of York in March 2012.

Samuel Lawrence attended the University of York, where they pursued their education in various fields. In 2009, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Samuel then went on to earn a Master's Degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the same university in 2013. Following this, Samuel furthered their studies and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cognitive Neuroscience and Neuroimaging from the University of York in 2016. Prior to their university education, Samuel completed their A Levels, focusing on Mathematics, Psychology, Classical Civilisation, and Computing AS.
