Andrew Jorgensen, CGCS, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the golf course industry. Andrew is currently serving as the Director of Community Maintenance Operations at On Top of the World Communities, where they manage the maintenance operations for the community. Prior to their current role, they worked as the Director of Golf Course Maintenance Operations at the same company, overseeing the management of 81 holes of golf and other community responsibilities.

Before joining On Top of the World Communities, Andrew was the Golf Course Superintendent at Sugarmill Woods Golf and Country Club. During their tenure, they were responsible for the daily and long-term maintenance and management of the 27-hole private facility. Andrew also designed and constructed a new golf maintenance facility and implemented renovations and improvements to the teeing areas and tennis courts.

Andrew also worked as the Golf Course Superintendent at World Woods Golf Club, where they managed the 18-hole Rolling Oaks course and assisted in the landscaping and maintenance of various other facilities on the property. Andrew oversaw the reconstruction of teeing surfaces and bunkers and coordinated tree removal and pruning.

Prior to that, Andrew served as the Golf Course Superintendent at Southern Woods Golf Club, where they were responsible for the daily maintenance and installation of irrigation systems and landscaping upgrades across the 18-hole private facility.

Andrew began their career as an Assistant Superintendent at Newnan Country Club, assisting the Golf Course Superintendent in managing the daily operations and implementing improvements such as additional landscaping and a new irrigation system.

Andrew Jorgensen, CGCS, has a comprehensive education history in the field of turfgrass management. In 1998, they attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, where they pursued an A.A.S. degree in Environmental Horticulture with a specialization in Golf Turf Management. Andrew completed this program in 2000. During the same period, they also obtained an A.A.S. degree in Environmental Horticulture, specifically focusing on Commercial Turf Management.

In 2012, Andrew furthered their education at The University of Georgia, where they earned a Certificate of Turfgrass Management, specializing in Turf and Turfgrass Management. This certification was completed in 2013.
