Barkley Truax is a skilled sports journalist with diverse experience in covering athletics. Currently serving as a National News Desk writer at On3 Sports since January 2022, Barkley focuses on breaking and national news in college football, college basketball, and the NFL. Previous roles include Kentucky basketball beat reporter for 247Sports and an internship at Kentucky Sports Radio, where coverage centered on Kentucky high school football. Barkley also served as Sports Editor and Sports Writer for the Kentucky Kernel, the University of Kentucky's independent student newspaper, from 2018 to 2022. Barkley holds a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Kentucky, earned in May 2022.
