Katrina Virta has a diverse range of work experience in strategic partnerships, business development, and global health. Katrina is currently the Director of Strategic Partnerships at Ona, where they are involved in data-driven projects with international partners. Katrina previously held the same role at Sensible Care. Prior to that, they worked at Dimagi in various roles, including Director of Partnerships & Business Development and Senior Associate in Business Development & Program Design. Katrina has also worked as a Consultant in Business Development at CAMRIS International, Inc. and as a Program Manager & Research Coordinator at Georgetown University. Katrina has experience in program evaluation, research, and teaching in the field of global health. Before entering the field of global health, they worked as an English Teacher in South Korea and as a Legislative Aide at the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Katrina Virta received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2006 to 2010. Katrina then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Global Health from Georgetown University from 2013 to 2014.
