Amit Rana

Amit Rana is a seasoned DevOps professional with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management, container orchestration, and CI/CD processes. Currently serving as a DevOps Technical Lead at Onafriq since August 2022, Amit focuses on designing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters, infrastructure management, and facilitating the migration of monolithic applications to microservices. Previously, roles included Senior DevOps Engineer at TO THE NEW, where responsibilities encompassed managing EKS clusters and enhancing deployment processes, as well as DevOps Engineer and Senior DevOps Engineer positions at OpsTree Solutions, focusing on CI/CD and AWS-based applications. Early career experience as a Linux System Administrator at Techblue Software and a Linux Administrator at GY Automation System provided a solid foundation in on-premises infrastructure and security management. Amit holds an MSc in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Applications from the Omkarananda Institute of Management & Technology.
