Kelsay Lewis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kelsay is currently serving as the Managing Director for Beyonic at Onafriq, where they are responsible for driving the vision and development of a payments app for small businesses in mobile money markets across Africa. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Product and Tech at Beyonic, focusing on products to serve SMEs' payment needs. Kelsay also served as a Product Director for Beyonic and worked as a Product Manager at Beyonic Inc. In addition to their experience in the payments industry, Kelsay has worked in various roles such as a Product Manager for One Acre Fund, a Technology Consultant for Himalayan Climate Initiative, and a Consultant at Pariveda Solutions. Kelsay has also worked as an Associate Software Engineer at Accenture, a Junior Database Developer at Nead Werx, Inc., a Student Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, and a Junior Application Developer at Intelligent Devices Inc. Throughout their career, Kelsay has demonstrated strong leadership, management, and technical skills.
Kelsay Lewis obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2010 and 2014. Prior to that, they attended Lakeside High School from 2006 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Kelsay has certifications in Mobile User Experience Design from The Interaction Design Foundation and as a Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in 2020 and August 2016 respectively.
