Genís Rabost Garcia

Research Engineer at Onalabs Inno-hub

Genís Rabost Garcia has a diverse work experience in the field of wearable devices and biomarker monitoring. In 2019, they worked as a Research Engineer at Onalabs Inno-Hub, focusing on the development of a wearable device for non-invasive biomarker monitoring from sweat, while also pursuing an Industrial PhD in collaboration with the Microsystems Lab from the Polytechnical University of Catalonia. Prior to this, they completed their Master Thesis at IMB-CNM, CSIC in 2018, where they worked on a project to develop a wearable device capable of non-invasively monitoring biomarkers from sweat, under the supervision of Dr. Francesc Xavier Muñoz Pascual. In the same year, they also worked as an I&D researcher at Onalabs Healthcare Inno-Hub. In 2017, Genís had a five-month stay at ICMAB (Institut de Ciència de Materials de Barcelona) as a Master Student, studying the interaction between nanoparticles and a living organism model under the supervision of Dra. In 2016, they completed their Bachelor Thesis at IMB-CNM, CSIC, focusing on cryogel integration in microfluidic systems for bacteria detection applications under the supervision of Dr. Óscar Castillo.

Genís Rabost Garcia completed their education with a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Universitat de Barcelona, from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, from 2013 to 2017.
