Sotiris Stamatiou

Sotiris Stamatiou has extensive work experience in various human resources roles. Sotiris has served as the Group Human Resources Director at ONASSIS FOUNDATION since 2016. Prior to that, they were the President of the Board and General Secretary at GPMA | ΣΔΑΔΕ, the largest association of Human Resources Professionals in Greece, from 2011 to 2016. Sotiris also worked as the Human Resources Director, International Operations at Hellenic Petroleum from 2015 to 2016 and as the Human Resources Director at Interamerican from 2008 to 2013. Before that, they held various human resources positions at Shell and Procter & Gamble. Sotiris started their professional career as a soldier in the Hellenic Army. Overall, Sotiris Stamatiou has over three decades of experience in human resources management and development.

Sotiris Stamatiou has a Mini MBA from Alba Graduate Business School, which was completed in 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Public Relations & Communication from Eurocenter College between 1989 and 1990. Their undergraduate education consists of a bachelor's degree in Economics, which they earned from Athens University of Economics and Business from 1985 to 1989.

In addition to their formal education, Sotiris Stamatiou has also obtained several certifications. In September 2009, they completed the Eurekans Management Development Program at Ashridge. In November 2005, they obtained a certification in HR in the Business from IMD business school.
