Ricky Knowles is an experienced professional in aerospace and business operations, currently serving as General Manager at Onboard Systems since April 2025. Prior to this role, Ricky held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Airbus Helicopters and Aerovel, the latter of which was acquired by Airbus. Ricky's extensive career includes various leadership positions at Insitu Inc from 2013 to 2023, where responsibilities spanned business operations, production planning, and program management for defense projects. Ricky's foundational experience in the U.S. Navy included roles as a Joint Staff Officer and a P-3 Instructor Pilot. Ricky holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, an MBA from the University of Florida, an Advanced Executive Certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a Master's in Project Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
