Steve Smith

Stephen Smith serves as the Chief Information Officer at OnceHub since November 2019, having held multiple titles including Director of IT, Risk & Data Protection, and Trust & Data Protection Officer. Previously, at MetLife from February 2016 to July 2018, Stephen worked as an EMEA Privacy Specialist and was a GDPR expert for 26 countries in the region. Prior to that, at Walkers, Stephen developed an enterprise risk management framework and established IT risk control plans. Stephen's earlier experience includes roles as IT Manager and Business Consultant at David Gist Solicitors, Managing Director and Shareholder of Lawsys Ltd, and solicitor positions at Lyons Davidson Limited and Bevan Brittan LLP. Academic credentials include an LLB Hons in Law from the University of Southampton and completion of the Law Society Final Examinations at the University of West England.
