Dan Chen

Dan Chen has worked in the clinical development field since 2000. Dan began their career as a Staff Scientist at Genencor International, where they worked on clinical development of two immunotoxin cancer therapeutics and a HBV therapeutic vaccine. Dan then joined XenoPort, Inc. in 2006 as a Senior Medical Director, performing a key leadership role within the Project Team structure and responsible for the clinical development strategy and clinical trial implementation for CNS and GI therapeutics. In 2013, Dan moved to InterMune, Inc., taking on the role of Medical Director, Clinical Science, where they were the project team lead for clinical development of therapeutics for connective tissue disease-related interstitial lung disease (CTD-ILD). Dan then joined Jazz Pharmaceuticals in 2015 as Senior Medical Director, Clinical Development, before taking on their current role as VP, Clinical Development at OncoC4, Inc. in 2021.

Dan Chen obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology from Caltech, followed by an MD from Peking Union Medical College.
