Yang Liu

Yang Liu has been working in the field of cancer and immunology research since 1998. Yang began their career at The Ohio State University as the Kurtz Chair Professor and Division Chief. In 2006, they moved to the University of Michigan as the De Nancred Professor and Division Chief. In 2012, they joined the Children's National Health System as the Director for Center for Cancer and Immunology Research. In 2018, they became a Professor of Surgery and Director of the Division of Immunotherapy at the Institute of Human Virology at the University of Maryland, School of Medicine. In 2020, they joined OncoC4, Inc. as Chairman, CEO and CSO, and they are also the Chairman and CSO of OncoImmune, Inc. since 2001.

Yang Liu obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Immunology from The Australian National University between 1986 and 1988. Afterward, they were a postdoctoral fellow and Associate Research Scientist in Immunology at Yale University from 1989 to 2001.
