OncoNano Medicine
Baran Sumer is the co-founder and scientific advisor at OncoNano Medicine, a company that focuses on developing nanotechnology-based cancer treatments. Prior to their current role, Sumer worked as a researcher at Simmons Cancer Center and UT Southwestern Medical Center, where they focused on developing new cancer treatments.
Baran Sumer attended Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Baran then completed an Otolaryngology Residency Program at Washington University in St. Louis. Following their residency, they pursued a Fellowship in Microvascular Surgery and Transoral Laser Microsurgery at Washington University in St. Louis.
