Katherine Giles

Katharine Giles serves as the Director at the National Reconstruction Fund Corporation since August 2023 and has been the Managing Director/CEO at OncoRes Medical since September 2017. Additionally, Katharine holds positions as a Non-Executive Director at Sonic Healthcare, a Venture Partner and Investment Manager at Brandon Capital Partners, and a Committee Member for the Australian Society for Medical Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Active in advisory roles, Katharine is a member of the Commercialisation Advisory Board at Curtin University. The career in orthopaedics and obstetrics/gynaecology began with a Surgical Assistant role at POAB Recruitment in 2003. Noteworthy achievements include recognition as a winner of the Value Award and Overall Runner-Up in the MedTech Innovator Accelerator Program in 2019. Previous leadership included roles as Deputy Chair WA at Accelerating Australia and Director at Spark Co Lab. Katharine holds an M.B.A. and MBBS (Hons) from The University of Western Australia, completed between 1996 and 2006.
