Brendan Florez

Brendan Florez has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Brendan is currently the Managing Director at Ondo Finance, an institutional on-chain finance company. Prior to that, they worked as a Venture Partner at Purpose Built Ventures. Brendan also co-founded Stella Talent, where they held the role of Co-Founder.

In the past, Brendan was the Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Operations at Centinel Management, an ESG-focused private-equity and venture incubation firm. Brendan played a key role in creating strategies and financial models for a $250M ESG-focused PE fund and developed legal structures for the venture studio operations.

Before that, Brendan worked as a Senior Relationship Manager at Bridgewater Associates, the world's largest hedge fund. Brendan led efforts for the management of investment portfolios and leveraged data and advanced analytics to improve decision-making.

Additionally, Brendan founded and served as CEO of Base Capital, a technology company in the education and finance sector. Brendan designed and built various models, assessment tools, and platforms, and successfully managed the company's acquisition.

Furthermore, Brendan held multiple roles at Polyera Corporation, including President & COO. Brendan led the sale of Polyera's business to Flexterra and played a significant role in business development, marketing, and branding efforts.

Lastly, Brendan worked as an Executive Team Consultant at Rosetta, where they drove organizational change, managed CRM programs, and supported strategic marketing efforts for various clients.

Brendan Florez received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and Neuroscience from Princeton University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
