Mikhala Barasa

Mikhala Barasa is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various legal roles. Currently serving as Associate Legal Counsel at One Acre Fund since July 2023, Mikhala also holds the position of Legal Counsel at MMMF Associates since February 2020, where responsibilities include preparing legal opinions and representing clients in court. As Official Legal Advisor and Board Member of the Kenya Muay Thai Federation, Mikhala focuses on contract negotiation and dispute resolution. Additional roles include Official Legal Advisor for National Cooperative Business Association CLUSA International and Official External Legal Counsel for Drop Access Ltd. Previously, Mikhala managed the Legal Unit at Resolution Insurance Kenya and worked with Prof. Tom Ojienda & Associates and Namatsi and Company Advocates. Mikhala's educational background includes a Post-Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and certifications in arbitration and sports law, complemented by professional training in change management and Lean Six Sigma.
