Genci Pojani

Genci Pojani is an experienced telecommunications professional with a strong background in IP and transport engineering. Currently serving as the Head of IP & Transport Engineering Section at One Albania since September 2020, Genci has led significant mobile core and RAN swap projects. Prior to this role, Genci held various leadership positions at Telekom Albania, including Head of IP & Transport Engineering Section and Technical Coordinator, where responsibilities included coordinating technical activities, managing budgets, and executing business cases. Genci's extensive experience also encompasses roles at Albanian Mobile Communications and earlier positions in academia and government as a telecom expert and pedagogue. Genci holds a Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from the Polytechnic University of Tirana.
