Nick Balkissoon

Nick Balkissoon is an experienced engineering professional currently working at ONE since April 2022, following the merger of a stealth fintech backed by Walmart and Ribbit, where Nick contributed from December 2021 to April 2022. Prior experience includes software engineering roles at Amazon Web Services from September 2019 to December 2021, and Goldman Sachs from August 2017 to September 2019. Nick's background also encompasses consultancy at Red Hat, where solutions were implemented for major financial institutions, as well as an analyst position at Investment Technology Group, focusing on trade reporting systems. Earlier roles include software engineering at the U.S. Department of State and FrontCoding, contributing to various development projects. Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Chinese from Duke University, complemented by studies at Fudan University.
