Ramanan Laxminarayan serves as the President of One Health Trust and has held the position of Senior Research Scholar at Princeton University since July 2010. Laxminarayan is also the Founder of HealthCube, which focuses on improving healthcare and diagnostics for the four billion individuals globally lacking access to such services. Since April 2012, Laxminarayan has been an Affiliate Professor at the University of Washington. From September 2018 to July 2024, Laxminarayan serves as the Board Chair of the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP). Earlier in their career, Laxminarayan worked as a Senior Fellow at Resources for the Future from 1999 to 2010. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Economics and a Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology from the University of Washington, as well as an undergraduate degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
