Kenneth Shackelford

Kenneth Shackelford has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of early childhood education and childcare. Kenneth currently holds the position of Executive Director of Early Learning Child Development at One Hope United since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Regional Manager at The Learning Experience from January 2020 to June 2021.

From May 2019 to December 2019, Kenneth served as the Senior Director of Network Partnerships at United Way of Salt Lake. Kenneth also has experience as a Regional Manager at Bright Horizons from January 2016 to February 2019, where they successfully expanded the region and played a key role in opening a center for doTERRA employees.

Earlier in their career, Kenneth served as the Executive Director at Bernice E. Lavin Early Childhood Education Center, managing operations, budgeting, and facilitating expansions. Kenneth also worked as a Director at the same center, implementing new standards and improving enrollment and employee satisfaction.

Kenneth started their career as a Teacher at Motorola Childcare and Education Center, and also worked as a Summer Camp Counselor at YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. Kenneth began gaining work experience as a Lifeguard at Rush Copley Medical Center in 2000.

Kenneth Shackelford completed their education history with a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences/Human Sciences Communication from Eastern Illinois University in the years 1998 to 2002. Kenneth continued their studies at National Louis University, where they obtained a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Early Childhood Administration from 2005 to 2007. Kenneth further pursued their education at the same university and completed an Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General in the years 2013 to 2015.
