Danny Briskin

Head of HR at One Medical

Danny Briskin is the current Head of HR at One Medical. Prior to joining One Medical, Danny served as the VP of Global Employee Relations and HR Shared Services at Gap Inc. from May 2000 to August 2016. In this role, Danny was responsible for workforce issue resolution for Gap Inc.'s 135,000 employees and provided strategic oversight for the management of employee concerns involving discrimination, harassment, and workplace violence. Danny also oversaw Gap Inc.'s Severance program and led Gap Inc.'s Labor Relations team.

Prior to their time at Gap Inc., Danny was a Partner/Associate at Schachter Kristoff Orenstein & Berkowitz from September 1992 to May 2000.

Danny is a instrumental leader in the company’s Women and Opportunity Initiative - a broad-based effort to propel Gap Inc. to be the premier employer destination for women in the retail industry. Thanks in part to Danny's efforts, Gap Inc. received the prestigious 2016 Catalyst Award.

Danny Briskin pursued a degree in broadcast journalism at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then went on to study law at the University of Minnesota Law School.

Danny Briskin reports to Christine Morehead, Chief People Officer. Danny Briskin works with John Beard - Head of Technical Talent Acquisition, Saul Weiner - Head of Talent Acquisition.
