Aneesh Sohoni

Aneesh Sohoni has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and responsibilities. Aneesh is currently the Chief Executive Officer at One Million Degrees since October 2021. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Director - Greater Chicago & Northwest Indiana at Teach For America from January 2016 to October 2021. Before that, they worked as a Project Director- Performance Management at TNTP from January 2014 to January 2016. Aneesh also served as the Chief of Staff to Assistant Commissioner for Teachers and Leaders at the Tennessee Department of Education from June 2011 to December 2013. Their career started as an English Teacher at Teach For America from June 2009 to June 2011.

Aneesh Sohoni has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Minnesota. Following this, they pursued a Masters in Public Policy with a concentration in Education Policy at Vanderbilt University.
