Katya Abaunza

Katya Abaunza currently serves as the People & Culture Coordinator at One Ocean Resort and Spa, a position held since September 2023. Previously, Katya held various roles at Marriott International, including Senior Human Resources Generalist and Human Resources Generalist, from October 2022 to September 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Assistant Store Manager and Keyholder at Free People from July 2021 to October 2022, and as Store Manager, Assistant Manager, and Keyholder at Lauren Nicole from October 2019 to July 2021. Katya also gained experience at Free People as a Keyholder and Senior Stylist from October 2017 to March 2020 and as a Stylist in June to August 2017. Katya earned a degree in Psychology with a focus on Clinical Psychology from the University of Central Florida between 2016 and 2020.
