Jenny Ottenhoff

Senior Director, Policy And Strategy at The ONE Campaign

Jenny Ottenhoff has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations. Jenny began their career as an intern at Invisible Children Inc. in 2007, followed by an internship at Resolve Uganda, where they coordinated grassroots advocacy campaigns. In 2008, they served as an Executive Coordinator at The George Washington University, Center for Global Health, supporting the center's communications activities and conducting research on nutrition.

Jenny then worked as an Intern at the World Food Programme in 2009 and as an International Programs and Partnerships Coordinator at George Washington University from 2009 to 2011. At the Center for Global Development, they worked as a Policy Outreach and Communications Associate from 2011 to 2014.

Jenny joined the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator, U.S. Department of State as a Public Affairs Advisor in 2014. Jenny later moved to the U.S. Department of State as a Deputy Director, Policy and Communications from 2015 to 2016.

Their most recent position is at The ONE Campaign, where they served as the Policy Director, Global Health from 2016 to 2020 and subsequently as the Senior Policy Director, Global Health from 2020 to the present.

Jenny Ottenhoff has an education history that includes a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from The George Washington University, specializing in Global Public Health, obtained from 2007 to 2009. Jenny also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from North Carolina State University, which they completed from 2002 to 2006. In addition, they had the opportunity to participate in the Semester at Sea program in 2004. Furthermore, Jenny obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in 2018.
