Tendani Muthambi

Tendani Muthambi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. From 2016 onwards, Tendani worked at The ONE Campaign, initially as Operations Director for Africa and later as Senior Director for Africa Operations and Management. In these roles, Tendani led the establishment of offices and partnerships in several African countries, provided strategic leadership, managed relationships with host governments, and oversaw various aspects of organizational effectiveness.

Before joining The ONE Campaign, Tendani worked at Management Sciences for Health. From 2010 to 2016, Tendani served as Manager for Finance and Regional Operations, providing administrative and management support to the Project Director's office. Prior to that, Tendani held various positions within the organization, including Associate Project Director for Finance and Regional Operations, Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor, and Project Administrator/Executive Assistant.

Prior to Management Sciences for Health, Tendani worked at the South African National Accreditation System (SANAS) as a Training Coordinator. In this role, Tendani marketed training courses, coordinated training activities, facilitated assessor training, researched innovative training methods, and prepared reports for board meetings.

Overall, Tendani Muthambi has a strong background in operations, management, finance, project support, and training coordination across the non-profit and accreditation sectors.

Tendani Muthambi has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of the Free State, which was obtained from 1994 to 1999. Tendani also completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Human Development, Family Studies, and Related Services from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika between 2010 and 2013. In addition, Tendani has pursued various short courses at eCornell University in New York, specializing in Managing for Execution, Executive Leadership, Change Leadership, and High-Performance Leadership in 2013. Moreover, they are currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Johannesburg, with an expected completion date of 2022.
