Alexa James

Alexa James has a diverse work experience in various art-related roles. Alexa has worked as a Director of Education, Art Instructor, and Education Coordinator at One River School of Art + Design since September 2019. Prior to that, they were a Painting Instructor at Pinot's Palette. Alexa has also worked as a self-employed Cartoonist and Illustrator since 2012, creating both traditional and digital artwork. Alexa has experience as a Head Cartoonist & Illustrator at One Raw Bite and as a Manager & Buyer at Distinctive Toys. Additionally, Alexa has worked as a Research Writer at Frederator Networks, Inc. and as a Freelance Cartoonist at DealNews. Alexa also has experience as a Sales Associate at Gap Inc./Old Navy.

Alexa James obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Cartooning and Illustration from the School of Visual Arts, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In January 2019, they also obtained a certification as a Certified CrossFit Trainer (CCFT) from Crossfit Klew.
