Katherine Lawrence

Katherine Lawrence is currently serving as a Fundraising and Business Development Officer at One Small Thing since January 2024. Previously, Katherine held the position of Head of Operations at the Service Children's Progression Alliance from January 2017 to January 2024, where responsibilities included leading research, practice, and IT projects while establishing a community of research-practice hubs across the UK. Katherine's earlier experience includes roles as the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers Manager, Widening Participation Coordinator at the University of Winchester, and a language tutor for Japanese and Chinese at Petersfield Tutors. Katherine's career began in the UK Civil Service as an analyst and team lead from 1996 to 2004. Education includes a degree in Japanese from the University of Oxford, a Masters of Research in Education from the University of Winchester, and various further qualifications, including a Level 2 certificate in Counselling expected in May 2024.
