Christopher Portelli

Christopher Portelli is an experienced legal professional and educator, currently serving as ISCC Supervisor at One Spirit Learning Alliance since September 2022. With a distinguished career at the New York Legal Assistance Group from April 2006 to April 2023, Christopher held various roles, including Associate Supervising Attorney and Co-Director of Project FAIR, focusing on legal services for indigent clients and advocacy in public benefits cases. Christopher also contributed as an Adjunct Clinical Professor of Law at both Brooklyn Law School and St. John's University School of Law from 2011 to 2020, teaching law students to support low-income families facing public assistance challenges. Christopher holds a JD from New York Law School, an M.Phil. in Public and Urban Policy from The New School, and was ordained as an Interfaith-Interspiritual Minister at One Spirit Interfaith Seminary.
