Gaven Wang

Gaven Wang has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Gaven is currently serving as a Vice President at One William Street Capital since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Assured Investment Management as a Quantitative Portfolio Analyst from September 2021 to May 2023. Before that, they held the role of Associate Principal in Financial Engineering at Qontigo from November 2019 to September 2021. Gaven also gained valuable experience at PwC, where they worked as a Senior Associate in Financial Analytics and Derivatives from July 2018 to November 2019, and as an Associate in the same field from February 2017 to June 2018. Gaven started their professional career as a Summer Associate at PwC in 2016. In addition, they worked as a Quantitative Research Analyst at China Chengxin International Rating Co. Ltd in 2015, where they worked on pricing credit derivatives and Collateralized Debt Obligations using various mathematical models. Gaven also served as a Research Assistant at China Electronics Xin'an Investment Management in 2013, where they contributed to the assessment and improvement of the credit rating system and conducted research on Internet Finance issues. Gaven Wang completed their Master's Degree in Financial Engineering from Columbia University in the years 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics from Nankai University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, Gaven Wang obtained a certification in Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in August 2019.
