J Manuel Colon, MBA has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. In 2023, they will be joining One World Surgery as the Director of Finance. J Manuel also worked as a Financial Analyst at St. Vincent's Health Services from June 2015 to November 2015. From 2008 to 2014, they worked at Yale University School of Medicine as an Accountant, and simultaneously served as an Award Coordinator at Yale University from February 2008 to February 2014.

J Manuel Colon, MBA, began their education at Albertus Magnus College from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Afterward, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the same institution, further specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. More recently, in 2022, Colon enrolled in the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, where they are expected to complete an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Culinary Arts/Chef Training by 2024.
