Marc Buyse

Marc Buyse is an accomplished biostatistician and entrepreneur with a diverse background in clinical research and academia. Currently, Marc serves as the Founder of One2Treat, which focuses on comprehensive assessments of treatment benefits by integrating key patient-relevant outcomes. As the Chief Scientific Officer, Founder, and CEO of IDDI, Marc has contributed significantly to the field since 1991. Additionally, Marc is the Founder of CluePoints, a company specializing in the monitoring of clinical trial data using innovative statistical algorithms. An Associate Professor of Biostatistics at Hasselt University since 1988, Marc's academic journey includes a Doctorate in Biostatistics from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, and an engineering degree from Université libre de Bruxelles. Prior experiences include positions at EORTC and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
