John Wardrop

John Wardrop has over 13 years of work experience in the IT industry. John worked at St John Fisher Catholic School from 2007 to 2014, starting as a Senior ICT Technician and later becoming the Network Manager. During this time, they managed and maintained a complex multi-site network and provided technical support to a large user base.

In 2014, John joined Advanced as a Network Engineer. John was responsible for providing network and infrastructure support to customers in the health and care industry. John managed the planning, installation, and management of network and systems infrastructure for over 100 customers. Additionally, they delivered platform support for software solutions both on-site and through SaaS.

In 2018, John was promoted to Collaboration Team Lead at Advanced, where they led a team and contributed to the collaborative initiatives of the company. Recently, they have been working as the Principal Systems Architect, utilizing their expertise in architecting and designing systems to meet customer requirements.

John Wardrop completed their Certificate HE in Information Technology and Computing from The Open University in the years 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Borden Grammar School from 1996 to 2001, though no specific degree or field of study is mentioned. In addition to their formal education, John obtained certifications including Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert from Microsoft in November 2021, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft in February 2020, and CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in 2005.
