Tim Brophy, PMP, PSM

Tim Brophy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Tim is currently a Pre-Seed Advisor at a Stealth Startup, where they provide advice on fundraising, strategy, marketing, and operations. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Recruiting Karma, where they supported underprivileged communities and their career development by donating a portion of recruiting fees.

Previously, Tim served as the Chief Operating Officer at OneDegree Careers, a mobile platform that helps career seekers and switchers find skilled opportunities without a 4-year degree. Tim also co-founded Silicon Beach Investment Group, a democratized seed investment company that supports early-stage startups in Southern California.

Earlier in their career, Tim worked as a Sr. Project Manager and Performance Improvement Program Manager at Hoag Health System, where they established a Continuous Improvement department and led various improvement initiatives. Tim also worked as a Project Manager at CBRE, managing projects for Chase Bank.

In addition, Tim has provided pro bono start-up mentoring as a Strategy and Growth Entrepreneurial Advisor at Dream Catalyst DACA Facilitation. Tim gained experience in project management and industrial engineering as an Associate Industrial Engineer at The Walt Disney Company. Tim also served as a Business Development Advisor at SafeSleeve, LLC and co-founded Common Fibers.

Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the same institution, completing their studies from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, they attended College of the Sequoias from 2005 to 2009, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Mathematics, focusing on College G.E. and A.P. High School.
