Ken Chen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Starting in 2013, they worked as an Engineer at Hiwin Corporation, where they were responsible for defining product roadmaps and market segmentation, refactoring legacy code, and optimizing memory usage of embedded systems. Ken then transitioned to the role of Jr. Engineer, where they designed algorithms for close-loop feedback control systems, implemented self-defined payload formats, and handled new product CE certifications.

In 2018, Ken joined LITE-ON as a Sr. Engineer, where they worked in both the C&N PD and PLC PD departments. In C&N PD, they led a team in building an IIoT platform, ensuring timeline adherence and facilitating effective team collaboration. In the PLC PD department, they built daily testing environments, developed extension modules for control systems, and designed system configuration mechanisms.

In 2020, Ken moved to Moxa as a Sr. Backend Engineer, specializing in Network Management Systems. Ken had end-to-end responsibility for the software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis to deployment, and oversaw the release of 5 major versions.

Currently, Ken works as a Backend Engineer at OneDegree, where they focus on teamwork and collaboration. Ken'sresponsibilities include establishing interview and code review guidelines, visualizing test coverage in code reviews, and sharing technical and domain knowledge with the internal product team.

Ken Chen completed their Bachelor of Science in Mechanical and Electro-Mechanical Engineering at National Sun Yat-Sen University from 2007 to 2011. Ken then pursued a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering Related Technologies/Technicians from National Cheng Kung University from 2011 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained "The Complete SQL Bootcamp" from Udemy in April 2020, "Beginning C++ Programming - From Beginner to Beyond" from Udemy in March 2020, and "Docker技術入門與實戰" from Udemy in October 2019.
