Paul Knapp

Paul Knapp has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Paul has recently worked at OneDegree and IXT by OneDegree as the Chief Technology Officer and Vice President of Engineering. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer and Director of Engineering at Kaidee, where they managed the technology platform for Thailand's largest online marketplace. Paul also worked at Allianz Technology and Allianz Managed Operations and Services as the Head of IT Delivery, Chief Technology Officer, Head of Software Development, and Senior System Architect, overseeing software development and managing large teams. Earlier in their career, Paul worked at Telstra, Fairfax Digital, AMP, and The Frame Group as a Senior Technical Consultant, where they played key roles in various technical projects and implementations.

Paul Knapp completed their education history with a post-graduate diploma in Information Technology from the University of Technology Sydney in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a bachelor's degree in Communication, General from the University of Canberra between 1991 and 1994. Additionally, Paul has acquired several certifications, including ITIL V3 Foundation from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2016, and various AWS certifications from Amazon Web Services. Paul also holds certifications such as Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org and IBM Certified Enterprise Developer – Websphere V5. Paul also has certifications from Sun Microsystems, including Sun Certified Business Component Developer, Sun Certified Java Programmer, and Sun Certified Web Component Developer for the J2EE Platform.
