Fatimah Shalash has a diverse work experience starting in 2006 as a Student Assistant at the W.T. Young Library. Fatimah then worked as a Tutoring Coordinator/Americorp Vista at the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning. From there, they moved on to roles at the University of Kentucky Family Center, where they served as a Clinic Co-Coordinator and a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. Fatimah then worked as an ESL Instructor at Project Hope before joining iMentor as a Senior Program Coordinator. Shalash then spent several years at Comprehensive Youth Development, holding roles such as College Advisor, Site Coordinator, and Site Director. Fatimah is currently the Director of Teacher Support at OneGoal.
Fatimah Shalash's education history begins in 2004 when they attended the University of Kentucky. Fatimah completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences in 2008. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at the same university, which they obtained in 2011.
In terms of further education, Fatimah Shalash obtained a certification in the "Foundation & Framework of College Access and Success Counseling" in February 2013.
